Thinking of the narrow gauge industrial diesels, sometimes known as "critters", has there been any sort of commercial offering in Nn3? I know there are some in HOn30 such as the Brick Price kits. How about for N scalers? :(

I know there has been a boxcab made... I believe it used a Marklin chassis (suprise!), but I don't recall anything about it. I'll see if I can find out who makes it... You could just take any small Z locomotive and build a box shaped body for it, and voila! Freelanced Boxcab! [IMG]

Well, there is apparently kits available for SP's "Little Giant" and the WP&Y diesels... but as for anything else, you've just gotta scratchbuild a body and fasten it to a Marklin steamer or F7 Z chassis. Sounds like a fun project. ;)
