I got my 89'ers and my 5 car spine car set from Alan yesterday and the 89'ers are already done and the spine cars just need decals and trucks. These are truly AMAZING cars. I did the drawbar thing on my 89'ers and it looks so good, I think I need a pair or two more (and of the spine cars). Keep up the good work Alan.
quote:
Originally posted by 2slim: There was a mfgr in Arizona called Arrowhead Scale Models who did 28' parcel trailers in N scale, but I don't know if they are still in business. They were cast in resin and came 3 to a pack, they used track nails for the landing gear! 2slim

I recently found some of these trailers at my local hobby shop in single packs. Not too bad. Instead of using the nails for the landing gear, I robbed the up position landing gear from one of my Atlas 45ft trailers and put under it. Didn't require too much work to make it fit. It's not a perfect match for the real landing gear on the parcel trailers but looks 100% better than nails. Still think it will look good on one of Alan's spine cars whenever I get around to ordering one. Also, what decal set would you use to make the UPS decals out of? ------------------ Richard Turney
