I am sorry I have not been around for awhile but life gets in the way of hobbies.I have not done anything with the layout David was so kind to design for me but now I am ready to get started. So here is what I done so far dismantled the old setup and remodeled the bench to fit the dimensions for the new layout I did a full size mock up of the layout and found it was a little tight for what I planned. I made some changes to the original plan. Here is The original.

    Here are the changes.

There really was not enough room for the Lumber yard next to the coal mine especially that the mine I want to use requires 3 spurs so I changed the lumber yard into a small siding which I am not sure I will use. I then added the Lumber Yard to the lower left side of the layout and added a bridge. Well thats it for now will post pictures of progress as soon as I start. Again constructive criticism is welcomed as usual Thanks.

The coal mine is much better. Now any engine arriving in the lead of a train can escape, and run around.

I did not keep up this thread because there was not much interest in it but I thought I would post some photos of the way it stands now.

Great looking scenes man. What radius curves do you have on your mainlines?

I for one have been keeping up with your thread as I suspect others have too. I like the changes you made. The photos look pretty nice and you have surely gotten off to a great start. Myself, I tend to be more active with modeling in the winter months as I am sure others do. Keep posting updates and feel free to ask questions if you need help with something.
