a Mother-slug set that normally runs the local switching job, and the once a week freight to Burnsville. (often times a pair or single GP38-2) #6483 and 2228

Here is a mixed freight, consistning of mostly Boxcars,a few tank cars, and from time to time a couple TTX flatcars. The TTX flatcars are being taken to Gassaway,WV where about 1,000 are being "stored".

It was cold on thanksgiving day here as well. with 6 inches of snow! What a mess!

But must say Pat, those pictures with the cold gray day helped with contrast on the loco's! Nice work!

I got a good week off to do whatever I wanted to, only 3 days left so I better keep railfanning! The problem is, there is no high-traffic line within 50+ miles. Even Grafton,WV is a large facility, but I have never seen a train go through there in the 30+ times I've visited there. The local line has about 3-5 trains a day all coal hoppers. And any oddities move during the night. [IMG]
