It is a foggy, gray, damp day, late Fall of 1980. BN #684 and sisters sit in the dead line at Auburn Yard, Washington. (She is ex-GN #464A.) In a couple of months she will avoid the scrapper's torch, and be running again, as Seattle & North Coast Railroad's #102:

Is that anything like a jailbreak? Death row pardon? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
    What happened to S&NC 102?

Wish I could find my notes. It went to a dinner train, I believe in Iowa. And since then has wandered, along with partner ex-SNCT 103. Among stops being the Grand Traverse Dinner Train in Michigan. I believe it is doing the same now in Wisconsin. What is the name of that outfit? Wisconsin Great Northern? I believe they also have an ex-MILW SW1 there.

One of them went to Doyle McCormick when he restored it to GN colors, now in Gerabaldi, OR. It's land locked over there.
