Lets see if I can help you out. How large is the file size? Will the video play with out any glitches in a media player? YouTube is extremely picky on certain things, perhaps your video file is an un-supported format. There's also Vimeo.

100,475KB runs fine on the computer just clicking on the file. uploading to Vimeo now will see what happens.

100mb is quite large for a minute and a half video. It will upload, but you're looking at about a half hour - 40 minutes upload time. If possible, I'd recommend compressing the video. I'm uploading my video for modeling now that is 1:15, 50mb and taking 18 minutes.

I am going to TRY and do this. I have problems with video, typically. I have seen Mark's thread on uploading so I will see if that helps me out.

Gonna try for something tomorrow. IF I'm lucky enough
to catch a train headed in the right direction!
Moffat action was in mind, but with more than 48 INCHES
of snow near Rollins, that ain't happening! Gonna stay down low
where the snow doesn't exist now! Maybe Tuesday, while I'm
up, before going back to bed prior to going to work.

Chute, I have to wait 80 minutes before my video is converted. At least I can use this as an example that you should post your video URL as soon as it is UPLOADED. As long as the file is online (ie. fully uploaded, but not converted) and the URL present before the end post, the entry will be accepted.

    Ok, here's my entry:[IMG]

    Another question:

What do folks use to edit videos??
I gotta shorten mine by a bunch! But, need
to know HOW to remove a portion of video before posting.

Do I do it on the camera, then upload, upload, the modify on computer etc.....?
Want to enter, but need some bigtime help right now!
    Thanks!

Which operating system are you using? For windows, there is a program called Windows Movie Maker and on Mac one called iMovie. Each ship with the operating system and both are great for simple editing and compressing tasks. Import your media from your camera as is.. editing in camera is permanent and I do NOT recommend it. Once the file is on your computer you can make a copy so that you don't accidentally cut out any bit you might want later. Once the file is on your computer, just open it up in Windows Movie Maker or iPhoto and play around. They are both easy to figure out.

Let me know if this works out for you.

Running Win XP on one laptop, and Win Vista on the other laptop.
However, the Vista machine is undergoing a reload, after I totally screwed it up!
    And don't know how!!
I'll see what I have and what I can do.
    Thanks.
