Good morning everyone. Just a reminder for our event this year. The 12th Ohio N-scale Weekend: May 15,16 and 17, 2020 Franklin County Fairgrounds, 4100 Columbia St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Set up ONLY Friday 5-15-19 Noon to 7pm. Show hours on Saturday 5-16-19 10am-5pm for public, after 5pm participant door prize drawing, vendor/participant meal, & live auction. Show hours Sunday 5-17-20 9am-3pm. Tear down after 3pm. Participant weekend fee is $10.00, vendor table rental is $40.00. Public admission is $5.00 on Saturday for those over 12 years of age; individual/family on Sunday is $5.00. Thank you Brian for the update. Two of the vendors I enjoy visiting with at the Altoona N Scale Weekend will also be at your show. Now all I need is for the company I work for to approve my vacation request for the Ohio N-scale Weekend.
For those of you who registered or were planning on attending we apologize. Please read the following for information on refunds if you've registered as a participant or vendor. April 6, 2020 RE: Cancellation of Ohio N-scale weekend: Vendors, Participants, and the General public: We have waited as long as possible to make a decision about the impact the COVID-19 pandemic will have on the 12th Ohio N-scale weekend Scheduled for May 16-17, 2020. Regrettably, We have decided to cancel the 12th Ohio N-scale weekend. While the current stay at home order Governor Mike DeWine issued is scheduled to expire on May 1st, the governor has indicated that a slow return to normal will be required after the stay at home order is lifted. Our show definitely falls above the 100 person gathering restriction the governor issued prior to the stay at home order. We do not believe this limit will be removed prior to the show. We made an effort to secure a date later in the year to hold the show, but the only date our venue has available is in the middle of prime train show season. We believe this will make it impossible to have a show of the quality we expect. Participants and Vendors: If you have already paid for registrations and/or tables, we will issue a full refund or apply the funds you have sent us to the 2021 Ohio N-Scale Weekend.
