Photos from a needed vacation trip to South Dakota. From Friday afternoon, a trip on the Black Hills Central. Got real lucky, as power for this trip was BHC #110, a 2-6-6-2T steam locomotive! Locomotive had a great bark to exhaust on grades! Was very well worth the while! A video of the 110 and other photos to be added later. These are just a quick teaser! Ah the 1880 train...or thats what it was called...Used to live in Rapid City, well Ellsworth AFB, but close enough, way back in the early 90s...go there quite often
