1895 Linwood Post Office at Big Four track just 5 miles north of Anderson Indiana. On the other side of the track was a grain elevator. That it still there.
Looks like it was a popular place back in 1895. People were interested in a lot of things before the advent of TV, internet and smart phones.
Upon looking at old photographs, I often look at the people and wonder about their lives. In 1895 the U.S. was working its way through an economic "Panic" as they called them back then, a deep economic recession that was to run another two years.
