I work in Z and T gauge, but have recently developed an interest in TY (1:1000). Here is a video of my first layout built into a small briefcase. We were using this micro layout to make a music video, so the video is meant to be entertaining, not so much educational. The layout size is 24cm x 15cm (9.5” x 6”) which is roughly A5 (about half a regular page). The layout for the track is a simple oval. Main components used are from Teeny Trains, ittyblox and VA Holzkunst.

    That's amazing and insanely beautiful.

I can't even begin to imagine the amount of work put into that model - all the details, at 1:1000 scale no less (or no more...)

My hat is off to that modeler.(y)

Now that's got my electronics juices flowing! Interesting PC board in there.

It also looks like some of my little projects - held together with scotch tape!:D
