I see zero sheen on the Krylon ColorMaster Crystal Clear. But good to know there's another option that's actually flat. (y)

I just had some spare brass sheet laying around, i can't even say what thickness. As for dimensions, the 'strip' part it just about the same...

I picked up an Arnold U28C a while back, and finally stuck a decoder in there. I'm pretty impressed with this thing....
That's a LIfe-Like E-7 Shell, so I did have to do some shimming. But no, you wouldn't have to modify the Kato shell

It's a real bummer that they always have to have the second unit, since it blocks the Skytop view.
Installed my first sound decoder :) Digitrax, for now, in case i screwed the thing up royally and lost $$
