Hey everyone, I haven't been working on anything for awhile but was able to do decals. It turns out most of my sickness has been from mold in my house causing my respiratory issues. My house is under a full renovation at the moment.
Looks great. I like the way the war bonnet turned out. On the passenger cars have you thought about black pin stripes under the windows to simulate the Budd rib-sided cars the way that SF did for their smooth-sided cars?

yeah, I know. But then I need to have Hien paint and decal it for me. The SF I can do. I will have a 3 set Capitol Corridor running this weekend, in respect for the extras running the Capitol Corridor this Wednesday. They even be towing some CalTrain cars mixed in so waiting at Niles for a few shots. See ya at Pleasanton this weekend ?
Jeff, The ACE is just white paint and some blue and maroon decals. Arron's SF to me is much more challenging. As for Pleasanton...maybe. I just remember driving down to Cal Expo a while back and finding a big empty spot where the Z scale was supposed to be. Mark
I like it. But tbh the Santa Fe lettering on the F59PHi could have been centered instead of in the S, that how the real Fs looked. But it also could have gotten the "billboard" style lettering as well since that loco falls into the Superfleet years. but like I said, I like it. It looks great.
I like it! Hope you are feeling much better, now! Too much of this creativeness might get more people interested in Z scale. I hate to think of more people competing for limited new releases, ...but your work is really good. Rory
