Might be an issue on my end, but before I go digging, thought I would ask. I have found the scroll bar for up and down in "replies" isn't there. Maybe I have to have more posted...but the top line was off screen, and I couldn't drag it down to check before posting. Side to side it there, not the side. This "new topic" seems to have plenty of room for posting, so far no scroll bar needed...but I just did one, and had the issue in another section. Thanks
hmm, just tried, and the reply box keeps growing until it is about 25 lines deep (lost count). At that point, the vertical scroll bar appeared
okay...mine didn't. Top line disappeared..just. I suppose if I'd waxed long and typed another line, the scroll bar would have popped up. I'll enter a bunch of lines here and see. well, down to here, no side vertical scroll bar. Ah...there it is. By the time it showed up the entire top line was off screen and no scroll. Odd.
Trying a different tack here here here here here It seems, to this point, that the reply box just expands vertically. Tried a fair number more lines and the box just kept getting bigger.
does your top line disappear at some point before you get a scroll bar? I have my resolution set up for eyesight and SOMETIMES I know the screen on some websites needs to be moved around a bit to see it all. Like right now, however, editing this, I see a full scroll bar on the right that is NOT present in a normal reply at this many lines down. But, the bottom horizontal scrollbar IS there, always, just about three letters off the screen....probably, again, my particular resolution. Maybe toggling the sidebar would change things, I don't know.
Not complaining....merely stating. Makes it a bit rough to proofread before you post. Don't remember that from before the pre-changes last week. Now that I know, I can add text to get the top line back, then delete once satisfied!
