Kato already does make a 718mm (28 1/4") radius curve track piece. It would be nice to see it in a longer length than the present 15º version - same for the 481mm (19") radius curve. Likewise, I'd like to see 685mm and 448mm radius curve track pieces in order to facilitate forming a double track line inside the existing 718mm (28 1/4") and 481mm (19") offerings.
I still say... NCL... But... I agree with wider radii between 19" an 28". Better choice of turnouts...8 & 10... curved turnouts would be good too. Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
I wish they'd make more parts for items already out there.... specifically pins for the MAXI-IV stack cars. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That was my second pick! I'm so happy! Really, I've said it before: Kato, run what cha brung. Rerun the Mikados, the diesels, the GS-4's, the great stuff you have already run before...maybe just different paint and/or roads. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the SD-7s and 9s, the GP-9s, in fact all of your first generation diesels but they are getting very rare to find (maybe make the ones not already ready easier to convert to DCC). GS-4's are bringing in premium prices, how about another batch? Thanks for the new stuff you have brought out...the UP FEF is great...but not my road so I haven't bought one (I do have 4 GS-4's and need 1-2 more). How about a nice MT class 4-8-2 if you really want to make something new...but it isn't really needed. Rerun what you already have, please...
More GS4s? Great! I missed those the first time around. Hope they re-run the Daylight set with them. Wrong side of the continent, but what the heck. If their pricing stays consistent with what it has been in the past it'll probably be justifiable.
Two GS-4's, both 4449 but one in daylight one in war (black) paint AND the morning daylight passenger car set will be rerun with them! Now if only they would make a Baldwin AS-616...
Jeff, From the reading I have done I don't see anything about an upgraded chassis for the GS-4. I was hoping that they would somehow put the GS-4 shells, drivers, side rods, etc. on the excellent performing FEF. I am hesitant about buying the "same ole" chassis. They were not very good. I have read too many posts on TRW regarding the driver / bearing problems. In fact Max repaired my original loco once but it has passed out permanently now. Truth be know, I am such an SP fan I will most likely purchase one of the new ones and move my ESU sound set up into it. I second yor thought about a re-run of what they have done and done well. I could go for some SD7's or 9's in black widow or bloody nose with all of, or some of, the typical SP light packages. Some very unique stuff there. Carl
