I sometimes see prime railfan properties advertised in the fan magazines and they're always a fun read. Though, after staying years ago at a bed and breakfast in Marietta, PA literally feet from the tracks, I'd want some distance between my home and the rail and to be away from the nearest grade crossing. The prototype is great, but perhaps not looming in your back yard at all hours.
No problem...the constant flow of railfans, hobbyists, and tourists would easily pay your mortgage.....
Yeah, that's been on the market for 3 or 4 years now. I don't recall the original price, but it was certainly more than 2.9M. Steve S
