Thanks for the information on editing an existing posting...follow-up question which may have been answered before in this forum: How does one delete a posting that is out-of-date, items sold, etc.? Thanks for any guidance.
I have an error in the title in one of my last postings...I cannot edit the title...."Best way to lettered a weathered steam engine"....I would like to correct "lettered" to read "letter". Thanks much for your help!
I'm usually the person who does these tasks. Just post in the listing the item is sold, and I will then delete the topic. If you have multiple items, but not all are sold, just post in the topic what has gone. No need to do any editing. When an item reaches 90 days of inactivity, it is deleted soon thereafter.
Thank you very much! Obvious question: TrainBoard allow editing of the tags and text for a short period of time...why not also allow editing of typo's such as mine in the title of the posting? Thanks again.
I'm not certain. That may be a limitation within the software. Such errors seem to be infrequent, and we are happy to assist. We do try to catch obvious typos. The reason being our search engine can fail to locate what you seek, if spelling is in error.
