Locomotive Shells

    Have 2 new shells and with them on are causing detainment. Off and everything works fine. Appears to be the ladders, but may be the lower front of the shells.

    Tried bending them out. Might have to cut them off.

    Sorry about the double post. Didn't know Tapatalk would make another post when I was editing it. Also, must have been drinking something other than coffee when I attempted to paint the Trackside Transfer kit years ago. And I don't even drink those beverages :)

    I had some of these many years ago and yes the ladders coild interfere with the truck motion on tight curves. I cheated then and cut them off. I don't know what your curve radii are, but that would be my first guess.

    And it looks like you'll have some fun with that layout! Thanks for showing us the nice vids.

    9 3/4 and 11 inch radius. Yeah broke one off bending it, gonna cut the rest off. Might have to Dremel the lower nose too, think it is rubbing on the track.
