Thanks John. I bought the B40 at a good price, but of course I could not just have one Santa Fe loco..... now have four, just because I like them! But I really must get the cab roof equipment fitted.
AWR steam locomotive is brought out of a museum and placed in maintenance depot for inspection with a view to returning to working order
Need to work out what it will take to get it running again, I hope the boiler is still ok or the AW could have BIG bills, might need to be shipped over to MC's Lewistown shops for the major work.
Alan, As always these photos look great! Always impressed and inspired by your work! I'm sure you've been asked a thousand times, but what do you use for your gravel lots? Would it work for N scale? Also related, how do you secure it without any clumping? I tried making a small "gravel" parking area this weekend with fine ballast but as soon as I dropped some Woodland Scenics glue on it, it started clumping. It says it contains a wetting agent, but perhaps I need to use something else in addition? Again, great work!
