I'm looking to see if there would be any interest in a special run of Frisco railcars and what type of cars that you would support.

I'm really surprised there has been no support for a HO runner pack. N scale has seen six supporters so far. Please let me know what type of rail cars you would like to see and be sure to tell your friends about this thread.

Stick an HO scale freight car in Frisco colors in front of me, and I tend to ask two questions:

    Is it appropriate to 1952?
Why haven't you taken my money yet?

At this time I'm looking for support to have a runner pack release. What type of cars is unknown and I'm taking suggestions to help narrow the field. Your the first to respond to this thread and I thank you. We're not collecting money at this time we are just trying to find verbal support.

If I didn't model such an early era I would invest in this great idea. Now I wouldn't mind a run of 36' or 40' Frisco Billboard boxcars, or gondolas, or flat cars........oh sorry. My mind wandered.

Well, FFF (Frisco Fast Freight) boxcars are awfully nice. But I'd be a bit worried that they're not that likely to be seen on other roads.

Otherwise, there's a lot to be said for types of cars that the road (based on its region) is likely to have in abundance. Like covered hoppers or tanks, in this case.

We now have two request for a Frisco special run in HO scale that's about 2% of what we need. Please contact your friends and colleagues to this thread. More momentum is needed to make this happen. There may be about eight contacts from the Frisco website so that would make it about 10% total.

I would be interested if it would fit the transition era (1957) and know who the manufacturer is.

I'm surprised there are only 3 people that support a Frisco special run. The N scale thread has 10 people.

Please alert your contacts about this thread!!!

If the price is right, I would buy one for a friend, he does 50's to 60's Frisco.

I'm the same with the Rio Grande! Why tie yourself down to a specific time period?

I'm very picky with the period of the trains I'll run. You won't find anything outside the 1800 - 2016 era on any of my layouts.

    I guess I'm in the minority. I stick a 1915-1925 time frame.
