Allen, I like the forklift roof damage on your car. Nice detail!

    Thanks Craig. :)
When GaRy mentioned it doesn't take much heat to soften the plastic, he wasn't kidding!
I applied heat for a VERY short amount time, less than a couple seconds, and it stretched before I knew what happened.

So I thought, Hmmmm? I'll throw a patch on it with some tin foil, but it didn't quite work out the way I wanted it to.
While padding into place I wound up with too many wrinkles.
It turned out OK, but wasn't what I was going for. I should have used a heavier tin foil?
    Here's a better shot.

Thanks for the warning on the heat. I'll have to try the technique on a scrap car and see what happens.

    Allen,
Thats about done right there. STOP. DO NOT PASS GO. DO NOT REDO IT. Seriously that's outstanding - even if it was a "mistake"

I used a pencil torch and had it set on very low, even then I only swiped a couple of time fairly quickly. Do be careful! Next time I think I'll soak in hot water then try to shape it?

There is some excellent stuff going on here. Really like the foil trick..hmmm. So, modeling the 20's and 30's there didn't seem to be as much grafitti, just chalk marks. I figured that a bored drover from the 'XD' spread, (an actual big ranch of the era,) Got some chalk and 'branded these two cars, then signed them on the other side! Before and after pics, of course. And car two....

Had to paint the 'chalk' on there, which wasn't so bad as I thought it would be!

Here's my finished results of this FVM Tex Mex HS repatch and some flicks taken outside. It was fun to do.

Box - Naw, just a tip-o-the-hat to all the Texicans that moved up to these ranches in eastern MT. He must've seen a few of Bozo's signatures!
