Well folks, the twinkle lights are up in the stores and Andy Williams is belting out that old fav "It's the most wonderful time of the year!". So guess what, it's time to start that great Christmas Train thread!!! So I will start it off, I know this,is the HO forum but since HOn30 uses HO track... Here goes, Walmart has a bunch of neat buildings, so far I've added the Fire Station, Gazebo and now the Church. I will be adding a few more in the coming weeks. The layout will be a center piece on the dining room table till the tree goes up. So start thinking and posting ideas. I got some green pipe cleaners to make wreaths for the passenger cars. I'll post pictures of more stuff soon. Happy sledding!!!
Well OK.... I guess seeing as Christmas is already pretty much everywhere already. I agree Dale lets get it going "blatant Frisco plug" I offer the attached, with such a helper, no wonder Claus is such a jolly old soul I made the wreath from a pipe cleaner, painted Green with a Red wire for the bow.
Nice scene you have going there. I haven't seen the wreath as yet; nice touch. It sure is time for our layouts to take a Holiday look

Mine has taken on a holiday look. Thanksgiving and my birthday. December 01 is the time to start the merchants holiday.
Bear with me now. It will take a little imagination at this juncture. This is the site of a future park. The residents of Uintah Junction have started to decorate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
I think I've got the Yard Boss on my side now. She told me last night I ought to put a plywood base under the tree this time so the train stuff and Christmas Villege stuff stands up nice...... So, I'm going to go with a 4X4 base. Yup, it's gonna be a fun Christmas!
Yesterday my wife started to look at the Christmas village stuff at Micharls trying to see if it fit with her Lionel train Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
I can't set it up till after Thanksgiving, we are going to put it on the big table till the tree goes up. I'll post pictures soon. Thanks,
She wanted me to build her a folding table to put this on. I have a better idea. Two folding tables from lifetime that have adjustable height. She likes the idea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
