Atlas U33B

I see that Atlas announced these in HO. Here's to hoping they release these in N scale! Any chance, @Paul Graf?

 

Sorry, you'll have to wait until after Atlas shrinks their O scale RSD-15 down to N.

 

Maybe have a manufacturing two-for-one run of U33B and RSD-15

Let's hope they do it.

This would open up several kitbashing possibilities.

With a U36B in hand, you could make:


late U30B (replace radiator section with a U23B radiator section).
U18B (just shorten, then change out radiator as above).
U33C/U36C Replace a radiator section on a Kato U30C.
early U30B replace radiator section with a trix U28C section.

 

Yeah... I can't roster any of those U-boats... but RSD-15 are a missing 'want' for my Espee and Santa Fe line-up.

 

So Mr Graf, here's a sampling of interested parties for the U33B and you know the other loco wanted well I assume!
