The Wilton Historical society has a show every year around the holidays. We run from black Friday, through Martin Luther King weekend. This is a show for families to come see trains, not a swap meet. There are layouts in most scales spread across two buildings. We put them up and take them down every year, except for one permanent HO layout that was professionally built. If you live in the area, WE NEED MORE TRAINMEN! It is a fun show to volunteer at, lots of kids with smiling faces and shifts are about 3 hours. Plus you can bring some of your own stuff and let it run on the layouts. Currently all DC, but we are just starting a 5x10 HO for a new spot in the show, and it will be DCC. If you are interested please contact me! And come see the show even if you don't volunteer. Adults are free.
I'd like to come over there to see it. I just need the address and some directions from Northern Westchester NY. And the times it is open.
Boy...there's a town name I haven't heard in a while. Wilton. My Grandfather lived there. Visited when I was in Groton at Sub School on 1970. DeFur. Dave
