How to copy locomotive roster

Trying to copy my locomotive roster in jmri from one computer to another computer and can't figure it out . Looking for help on how to copy it on a thumb drive and then put it on another computer instead of type it all in again.

 

Frisco Charlie which files on jmri it said roster and roster.xml files how I have them on a thumb drive but cant get them on the other computer I must be doing some thing wrong . thanks for the reply

 

my roster is in decoder pro and trying to put in decoder pro on a nother computer

 

Check the location of the files on your original computer and put them in the same place on the new one.
On XP mine is C:\Documents and Settings\<yournamehere>\JMRI
May as well copy that entire folder over , all relevant files will be copied then.
In decoderpro check the "Edit/Preferences" menu for "file locations" and "roster" submenus.
If all that is correct you may need to rebuild the roster file with "File/rebuild roster"
