What size wheel sets go on a PS5344 from Athearn? My current wheels wobble just a little to much for my liking :( They sure do look nice, though [IMG]

Wrong..The car should be riding on 36 inch wheelsets. Athearn got it wrong with those cars. Install some nice 36 inch metal wheelsets and you will see what I mean.

I tried Jay-Bee 36" wheel sets and the car seems to be to high. The couplers are now to high.

Here is the general rule of thumb. Cars up to 70 tons capacity ride on 33 inch wheels. Car over 70 tons capacity up to 100 tons capacity or so ride on 36 inch wheels. Car over 100 tons up to 125 tons capacity ride on 38 inch wheels.

The fact that your car is sitting to high is a flaw in the design on the part of Athearn. The prototype cars of this design ride on 36 inch wheels.
