    Hello. I ma about my new locomotive to be equipped with the sound decoder. The locomotive announced as DCC friendly and I have found inside a board with 8 points on it. Likely most those 8 points are designated for decoder connecting. My question is - what is the color coding for the proper installation? Thank you.

    Why don't you use a 9 pin to 8 pin harness? It would simply plug into the existing analog board.
