Looks like a resistor converted into an air reservoir?

You have created beautiful scenery and excellent track work, very impressive. You also have some nice H-8 Alleghenies, models of a lovely locomotive. Are they brass?

The Alleghenies are Key Imports brass, made 1996. 19 years after production they still run well, some tinkering (remotorings etc) has been done over the years, though.

    Speaking of Key Imports brass.....
Can't decide whether to convert her to DCC and sound or sell her and buy a Kato, when the TTG comes out...

Otto K, What is the minimum radius curve for your FEF? Mine likes straight track and runs smooth but it does not like curves? The Kato FEF is a dream with its fabulous electrical pick-up and smooth low speed operations. - Tonkphilip -

18", with minor tweaking. Of course, she looks much better on broad curves, like the 54" radius in the photo above...

That makes sense, I have 20 inch curve and she struggles on that. So, I need to do some tweaks. - Tonkphilip -
