Greetings Folks, When using my ProCab how do I get it to play the sounds installed in my diesel loco?
I've tried several hrs all to no avail.
    Many Thanks

It's according to which decoder. I have one locomotive that will do nothing until I start the engine pressing 8.

The instructions are in the decoder pamphlet. It will list them. And if the loco came with a decoder instructions are in the Plastic box

What is the label on the box your loco came in? Brand of loco? Type of sound decoder? The advertising usually tells you all this info.
All my Bachmann and Atlas locos showed this info.
I have the NCE Power Cab. All the locos had sound start as soon as I powered up the Power Cab.
I am assuming the loco moves and the lights work.

Im assuming you're using the Procab with a booster. It won't work without one as it has no power output built in. As soon as you place you sound enabled loco on the track the sound will start, unless it muted.
