Custom built for Rainer Spohr. The Maerklin modell out of the box is doesn't capture the distinctive look of the NOHAB at all. The chassis is from some German electro loco without ant modification....
Here are the features of this kitbash:
    - all additional details metal etched parts!
    - roof details (winterization hatch, fans, railings, lift rings)
    - windscreen wipers, windscreen frames
    - ladders and grab irons
    - prototypical correct louvers
    - new truck frame sides with re-railing bracket
    - closed front & rear with snow plows
    - new buffers, closer together
    - hooks instead of Marklin coupler
    - re-shaped noses
    - new headlights, correct size, bottom further apart, top larger
    - additional light between windscreens
    - new tank cover
    - rear mirrors
    - custom paint job, decals and weathering

Beautiful! My favourite NSB logo! I have always thought the marklin nohab is too incorrect, too bad they dont go all the way with their engines. I have several decal sets for el 18, di3 and di 5 if you need some

Fantastic Gerd! You even did the safety glass at the silent side and window grills at the loud side. Although these have two cabins the locos were turned with silent cab forward when possible.
