Kato C62 coupler conversion

Greetings,
Has anyone done an MT coupler conversion on the Kato C62 4-6-4 loco?
Micro-Trains doesn't list a coupler for it and the coupler box is much different from the Kato 2-8-2 Mike so the 1129 won't work.
Any suggestions????:question:

Try using a MT Z scale #905 coupler. That will work nicely if you body mount it.

I've just left the kato coupler on mine and have had no problems but one of the 1015 family of couplers should be able to be body mounted if you need and MTL coupler.

 

I had the idea to use it with magnetic uncoupling but I don't want to cause other problems with the change.
