A few years back I setup a Google blogspot to act as a listing of N scale layouts that are on the web. In opening the blog I did an interview with Gustav Chatterjee and his Wrightsville Port. Since then the list has grown quite well. However it has been a while since I have added any new layouts. I did a little housekeeping on the Nlayout.blog list today. Surprisingly there were only 3 dead links. I learned that one of our friends (Dwane Ward) had discontinued work on his layout. I really enjoyed watching his progress. I look forward to Dwayne’s return. Also learned that Rick’s (Rick never gave me his last name so I assumed that is the way he preferred it) SP Cascade layout is a dead link. A layout known as the Alligator lines was another of the dead links, if you know what happened to any of these perhaps you could contact me with an update, especially if it was just a move to an new web address. I would appreciate your help. If you would like to help with the list Some of my friend on the list have added the nlayout.blogspot.com list to there link list. I hope those of you who have Nscale layout blogs and web pages will consider linking to it. Since its inception it has never been anything but a dedicated N scale layout navigation resource. If you are not and want to be included If you would like to be included on the N scale layout list, Please send me your name and your layouts name with it’s web address and I will add it to the list. contact crf250x04@yahoo.com If you don’t know what the layout list is check it out http://nlayout.blogspot.com
Joe, Bryan (Alligator Lines) passed away in the latter part of 2013. His site can still be seen at: http://www.nscale.net/forums/al/index.html Rick (PRSL)
Rick Thanks for the info on the Alligator line. By the way I have your layout listed as Richard's PRSL. Do you prefer to it being refered to as Rick's PRSL?
The nlayout list is dedicated to N scale layouts. Narrow Gauge is welcome. There is European prototype and North American prototype. At one time there was Australian Prototype, unfortunately that site went down.
Thanks for responding Thanks for responding this weekend, with your help we were able to add more N scale layouts to the nlayout.blogspot.com Next time you are looking for some layout iNspiration check out nlayout.blogspot.com There is now over 50 layouts on the list.
Joe, Thanks for doing this. It is nice to have a "one stop shop" as a jumping off point to n scale layouts.
