There is currently a larger HO layout under construction in Minnesota, but for now here's a Cab Ride on our largest public HO-Scale Layout: Enjoy!
Impressive. Liked the view going through the bridge, and loved the cameos by the junior railfans! Idle thought while watching - would it be possible/how cool would it be to have a camera car set to record a cupola view from the caboose?
Again thanks for the ride. It looks like the little monster where having a good time. I agree a view from the caboose would be great.
At one train show we moved a camera for all kinds of different views. Two flat cars ahead of it and then the locomotives so you could watch the locomotives going around the curves from behind. My favorite was looking out the side. Peering down streets at crossings going through model towns an all.
Wow, I remember that room before a single piece of wood had been cut! You've done a great job of fixing it up, and the layout came together fast!
That's not just a large layout, it's enormous!!! :startled: And it's gorgeous. Fine modeling and a nice way to show it off. I like how the little tykes pop up like whack-a-moles... they look like they're having real good fun.
I could do a caboose ride. I'd just have to use some sticky tape to secure it to the roof of the caboose. The stand the camera is on would just barely clear over the top of the hump so it would be a perfect view. How long of a train should I have in front of the caboose? I shall consider the request!
I enjoyed the video very much, Doc ... thanks for sharing it with us ... and I look forward to watching the caboose shots if you make one.
