    I just found out that Kieth Thompson passed away. He was an awesome model railroad photographer and worked for years at Model Railroader. I first met Kieth sometime in the Fall of 1993. He showed up at my front door to photograph my model train layout for a magazine article. Just watching him work for a few hours, I learned so much about model railroad photograph that I have never forgot. Here is one of the photos he took that day. Sure will miss him.

    Wow. Keith has been taking pictures and writing about the hobby for awhile. Never got the chance to meet him, but I've always enjoyed what he wrote.

    Thoughts and prayers to his family at this time.

    Sad news. I've known Keith for quite some time. He was a great guy. He'll be missed.

    For those interested, Keith's service will be here in Maple Valley, WA at 2PM on Sunday the 22nd. He'll be interred in Texas.
