Has anyone purchase the newly released Genesis GP38-2 EMDX #779, if so did it include the all weather window like it was supposed to? I have one and the window is missing from the box, called Athearn and they had no clue. This is the only number of the four that was supposed to have the all weather window. I'm trying to figure out if mine is just missing or if the whole run of this number is missing them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Have you checked the photos of EMDX #779 on Athearn's website? It looks to me that it's missing the all weather window as well.
It shows the left side and the window goes on the right side, the photo also shows a sunshade on the left but the production model doesn't have it which is correct per the prototype. I called the dealer I bought mine from and they checked the others in stock and they are missing them as well. Seems like the part was forgotten about at the factory on the whole run. Nick, unfortunately the photo's showing the wrong side - if fitted, the all weather window is on the other side; the driver's side.

It's been about 95% confirmed that the factory didn't include the all weather window part for this number. Athearn sent me one from the BN run, just need to paint it CR blue and slap it on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
