My apologies to anyone who tried to order the D-8 and D-8 logging version models on my Shapeways store https://www.shapeways.com/shops/Micro American Rail Prototypes . I always make sure my models can successfully be printed and assembled as seen in images on my Shapeways store before I offer them for sale. These two CAT models had both been printed out several times by me and some of my customers. But Shapeways decided they were no longer printable. To make a long painful story short… a lot of back and forth with Shapeways... and they are now back to being 100% approved and available at my store and have been successfully ordered.

They really look great ! I was a lucky early order and mine came thru.

If you could print a few versions of the plow 'in operation', that would be great. I bashed one so it was up and angled.

    Hi Jeff,

Glad yours got through. Unfortunately this model is "frozen in time"... Shapeways has changed the rules since I made this model. If I resubmitted this model again, the hydraulics would fail....

    Thanks,

    -Jon

    Hi Jeff,

I have found a really good vendor that uses the same type of printer and FUD material as Shapeways and they do a really excellent job. They are called Moddler http://www.moddler.com/index.php But no store to sell models to other people.... And they are about 3 to 4 times more expensive...

But do post any other job shops that can do z scale stuff.

    Thanks,

    -Jon

One of your D-8 logging kits is on it's way to me as of today. I'm looking forward to building it.
