Hot off the wire is the news that N-Scale Magazine is returning to a 64 page format with the May/June issue. This is exciting and brings with it a new columnist, Thomas Knapp of Nn3 fame. Thomas is going to appear in each issue with a new article featuring Nn3 modeling, including locomotives and rolling stock, along with all of the other aspects of modeling Narrow Gauge in N. All of your favorite article types will remain. You will continue to get the very best of N scale modeling anywhere. Walt Huston, Editor
Good news on all fronts. I'm glad I resubscribed. It's a great idea to bring more of a spotlight to Nn3 and Tom is an excellent choice to do so.
Great news. Nn3 could really use a shot in the arm, it's been pretty moribund for the better part of a decade. Let's hope this brings some attention to it. Traditional narrow gauge publications tend to shy away, N-scalers by nature aren't afraid of modeling small, so it should be a very receptive audience.
Pam , That is great news and so glad we have you and the magazine in the N Scale world !!! Mike & Robin Fifer
Thank-you for the info Pam... and Walt... As a member of the small group of Nn3 'arm chair' modelers... I will look forward to articles from N Scale Magazine's new columnist. Every so often I will read something about Nn3... and usually it's an article by Tom Knapp; an obvious good choice to be on the N Scale Magazine's team.
Out of curiosity what would it take to offer N-SCALE magazine as a PDF format? I was thinking along the lines of what MRH magazine is. Tom
