Sold out of the first order already. If anyone is thinking of buying one at the Amherst (Springfield) Show, drop me a line so I can make sure I have enough there.

    Hey everyone,

Just to let you know the Aggregate Unloader is now available and in the online store. The kit is a complete facility and includes the Pit, Pit Hopper w/Grating, Both Primary Conveyor and Rotating Secondary Conveyor, Drop Chute, Landing and Stairs. Both Conveyors have walkways. Here is a pic, but the pit is the prototype done in ABS. The new Pit is a cardboard product that will look like realistic concrete when painted.

Hi I was amazed to find you carrying this P&H Shovel.. I actually work for P&H (Joy Global) here in Milwaukee as a manufacturing engineer. Just by chance I ran across a diorama we have in the main lobby of I believe the 1:87 scale shovel, along with conveyer systems, etc. I model N scale and was thrilled to see they carry a 1:160 scale model as I have been (for a year go figure) planning out a modular layout, to include some type of mining scene. Do you by chance happen to have any staged photos of the model? I can obviously draw from real-world mining operations for ideas however I think it would be interesting to see what other people have came up with in the model RR world. Also, I'm sure there are a dozen who have asked however have you had any luck sourcing a 1:160 haul truck? I have looked into the Shapeways and actually have seen some strong potential candidates for completing an open pit mining scene.

After the rash of bad luck I've had, I decided to treat myself!!
    So, I bit the bullet:

Bob posted a shot of a couple of figures.
Mine has an Atlas Ford Fairmont next to it!
Oddly, the car was also my very FIRST car, color and all!!
Just need to adjust the "cables" on the bucket. A couple
of the are slightly long. Gonna find photo(s) of this thing in action
now. I would like to build a shelf display for it. Along with a truck, IF
one is made at some point.

    Overall, a VERY nice model!!

Now, where can I find proper crew figure(s) for this thing??
How many crew are required? Interested in a diorama for it, at some point.
Also need to find out the best way to construct a mine face where this thing
would be digging and loading trucks. Also if a truck, or trucks will be available at some point in time?
