Quite a skill you have there, brother! I am lovin' the UP modern coaches! I drive by the Oakland UP/Amtrak yard almost daily, and that would be a cool sight off i880!
It's always interesting to see what might have been. Wonder if UP would have taken up what was a development of rival Santa Fe's Hi-Levels though.
Love the concept of UP Superliners. Makes me think of lots of possibilities, especially pulled by a matching P42. This is my problem with Trainboard...too many great ideas, not enough time! Dave G Cache Valley & Northern RR
Very nice work, and I'm glad you showed these. I can refer people to this when I tell them of my recent idea. Just ordered Kato Broadway Limited with every intention of painting it Penn Central "Slimy Pond Green" ( GF's description) !!! One friend told me if I do this, I will have a yard full of people at my door, dressed in striped engineer cover-alls and hats, carrying burning cross-bucks !!! So be it !!!
FUN!!...But, I'd have made the Harbor Mist Gray on the roof come to a "V" point, and figured out a way to put a green anti-skid patch right under the front windshield...and snowshields too...just for the helluvit.
BurlingtonNorthernMan, I don't like your work, I LOVE YOUR WORK. I am proud of my accomplishments in the paint booth to some of my trains, but I can't shine your shoes, you are that good. If you ever go into professional business, these locos can be your calling cards, and you will be the AKSARBEN of the millenium. Ken "FloridaBoy" Willaman
I don't get it... he'll be a race track that gets torn down and replaced with a trendy shopping office park?
