    Out. Great American Train Show.

    Great show in Houston today. Had the feel of Gats many, many years ago. Good venue and excellent advertising really brought in huge crowd.

    In: Getting into a building/modeling spree with caboose models

    Out: Being in such a zone that I forgot to adjust the airbrush needle to its proper position (I moved the needle back into the body to preclude damaging the tip) spraying huge amounts of paint everywhere...

    IN - Selling off some of the equipment I know I'll never use including 3 sets of Kato Bethgons and 3 Athern well cars, (see my add in the Yellow Forum)

    IN - Choose a new career helping people - even if this forces me to sell my place and get a smaller one. :(

    Out: - Looking for a g/f. If they come to me, fine, if not? I have my trains.

    In: Working on projects clogging the workbench
    In: Finishing key projects
    Out: Working night shift, and seeing my wife and son only about 4 hours a day...
    In: Sleeping in!
    In: Z scale stuff
    Out: being lazy and not laying track on the new Z layout
    In: Finally finishing the RS-3 springs ont he Wright Z turnouts
    Out: Not having enough time to lay them!
    In: Taking advantage of a beautiful weekend to explore the abandoned Milwaukee Road in Montana
    Out: Picking up ticks on said hike
    In: Getting out with my whole family--wife, son and I on a railfan adventure!!

    OUT: Time for trains

    IN: Same girlfriend for 5 months straight come this friday...very happy!

    IN: Game girlfriend as above also has an interest in trains.

    OUT: (Well, almost) Last day of class is May 5, so that'll be arriving soon!

    Pat, I have been married 5 years, it flies!!
    Having kids just speeds up that time-space continuum...
    My advice, enjoy being a couple. having kids too early is a heck of strain on a marriage. I'm glad I waited.

    In: Having my fleet almost to the point where I don't need to buy so much
    Out: New stuff that keeps coming out, tempting me, stuff that I really have no need for, but want anyway!
    Out: Needing dozens more coal hoppers......

    Yes, but it gives DC trains the performance boost that DCC gives trains, as far as dirt resistance and making older 3 pole motors work great.
