Today, living with a pregnant wife and 3 daughters, it has been rather stressful. Between teenage wisdom, a 3rd grade book report, and just general sister fights, I have been a target today. I was asked today to get rid of yet another broken Ikea dreser, and that project was moved to the garage. Every few minutes I stopped disassembling the broken dresser and would switch a few cars on the layout built on a broken Ikea dresser....sometimes you just need a little time and 5 switches, 9 cars, and a loco sure can helpout.

You are busy getting rid of a broken Ikea dresser- But your layout is built on a broken Ikea dresser? I hope they are not one and the same?

Solidarity, brotha! Got plenty of stresses in life (four kids, one with Autism, wife with MS, business slow, etc.) and working on and running trains definitely helps keep my high blood pressure in check.

I can (somewhat) relate....my sister in law has real issues now with her MS, and my 5 year old has high anxiety. I have never seen a kid stress out like she does

10-4 on that. I switch cars as it relates to my job. One very hyper 14 year old boy and Angela are enough to sometimes make me want to run away. It also helps that my other work shop for the planes is in a storage unit the next town over. My fortress of solitude.....

Hang in there all of you, the rewards are plenty when you stick it out. I'm long removed from the family stress you are describing, possibly becoming a great granddad soon. Those are the rewards, later in life.
