Lets say I was born in the 1960’s. Two I am old enough to have a occasional glass of Alcohol and have some fun.. and to use good judgement and do both Responsibly !! Tom
I can relate, in the way I feel most days any more! Would also qualify for Old enough to know better, still too young to care?? That's how I feel some times. Needs to be a slot there also, that I'd fit into: Old, broken down and decrepit!! You know, looking, and feeling like an old Ford Model A/T from about 1910. Or earlier!
Yah, I was just jokin', but I really do wonder what percentage of modellers are looking on-line at these forums. To me it, seeing what other folks are doing is a big part of the hobby!
I'm almost to old to care and only have energy to care about the things within my scope of controlling them. Let's see what does that leave me?
Nearing 30. I see some of the older guys like my grandfather and can't wait to just fart in public and not give a damn.lol Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Hiya J911, I guess at 67 Imma almost old enough to reap that benefit, but I would prolly give that one up to trade with you...
64-2/7 today. Now, as other's responses kicked my memory, and in no particular order: First grade teacher? Sr. Mercedes, I think. OTOH, Kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Parker and her husband, Mr. Parker was my 12th grade Physics teacher. He went home at the start of the year telling her, "Guess who's in my class?" and she remembered me. I guess I made a depression, uh, impression or maybe left a mark. 1979 was the year I got on the wagon. Around mid-July; after a while, the exact day doesn't matter. I've been old enough to know better and too young to care for decades now. :cute: As for other stuff, I got my motorcycle license at age 61.69. Due to a bunch of circumstances that I won't discuss, I can have one vehicle, so that's it. I could get a car, but I'd have to give up the bike. The trailer park plowed ONCE all last winter, when we got 12-14", so I have to plan grocery runs very carefully - the road may be clear the day after the storm, but it's about 3 days before I can get through the park to the road.
Wow , I can barely remember 22. Good time with motorcycles and bad time with a bad wife then. LOL Good now though! Mike
Fortunately, I stay busy since I work for the railroad. Don't have any free time to do crazy things...lol
Alex! Is that you? Long time, no see! How are you? Good to see you again! Hope you can fill us in on what's been happening? How is Mikado these days? Hope he's well. Please tell him we said 'hello'!
