Hey all. Since it has rained all weekend I decided to re-install the replacement decoder I received some time ago. However, all the built in CV's read at 255. Even the manufacturer number and decoder version. Before I go any further, anyone got any ideas why it is doing that??

Have you tried the Loksound group at yahoo? It seems to be pretty active. Google "yahoogroups", and click the link to the directory, then type loksound into the search box and it will come up at the top of a list. You'll probably need to sign up in order to post. Hope this helps.

I did that and Matt Hermann contacted me immediately. They requested I send them the loco so the could evaluate it. He is thinkin there was electronics interfering, but its a Kato con cor S-2 northern. Everything was isolated motor wise . All I can think of is that somehow its getting screwed up during delivery. Or maybe I am incapable. :-b......
They did promise a extra decoder at no cost to me... So lets see what happens. I told him about Trainboard, and he seemed genuinely interested. Even called back to get the name again... lol...
