I got my second batch of NS Heritage unts today and noticed that on the Pennsyvania unit, the word Pennsyvania on the conductor side is one letter to far towards the front of the locomotive. Can't they get it right. They got plenty of pictures to go by. Scott
Indeed, the "S" in Pennsylvania should be nearly aligned with the center of the roadnumber. What TB advertisers have then in stock? I think I'm ready to "invest some capital" for the PRR or Southern model. Sent from my SCH-I405 using Tapatalk 2
Don't get me wrong, I love them also, I just think that they should of looked at them a little closer to see if they were right. If they would make this stuff in the USA, things like this wouldn't happen as bad. Scott
I guess I'll just invest in Kato's Ace's instead of these Gevo's. I do have a feeling that if Kato does good with the EMD's they may invest in NS style Gevo's.
Looks like FVM is aware of the issue, and will be reprinting the shells. Contact them for exchange in approx. 3 months
I wouldn't jump to that just yet. I'm a first time FVM buyer and am really very impressed with their GEVO's. Excellent in every way. I couldn't be happier with mine.
Same here. I'm tickled with the performance. I hadn't originally planned on getting all the units, but I'm getting more tempted by the day. They look gorgeous and are exceptionally smooth performers with the TCS decoder installed. And here's another "excellent service" story: one of my units had a defective light board. I e-mailed FVM about the problem last week, offering to send the defective board in for exchange. Today I received a new board in the mail, no questions, no further action on my part. That's pretty amazing customer service . . . John C.
John C. - I too had a light board that was bad ( I CRACKED IT ) and Matt is sending a replacement no questions asked. Excellent customer service. Carl
