I have a pre-order setup with an online vendor for a Maersk Sealand version of Kato's SD40-2. The e-tailer is saying Kato's release date (originally set for April) is now pushed back until the end of July, and they don't expect to ship them until mid-August. Has anyone received theirs yet? Has anyone heard anything similar? Thanks. edit: it looks like Kato's website is saying May.... hmmm
Kato's website is saying shipping May 2013, so maybe they got bad info or are being overly cautious? First I've heard of a delay otherwise... Brian

I see the truck sideframes are all jack up on the latest release of mid production SD40-2 just like all other sprung kato trucks.

Here it is almost mid May and I haven't seen anyone on e-bay or anywhere else for that matter, showing them for sale. I'm hoping it will be soon.
A quick conversation with the folks at Kato confirms the first batch is arriving at the end of the month of May, just like their website states in the link OMG!Trains posted above.
