Not quite HO but close enough for now. Had to add the bus after our recent vacation.[IMG]

Yes, there are some really nice cars and Locos showing up. I'll be add my own as soon as it comes in. Everyone seems pretty busy with new things.

I really like these. The CGW's wasn't quite like this, but the model is so well done that it doesn't matter.

I recently returned to HO scale after modeling O scale for a long time. I have had to downsize and chose to come back to HO scale. The last time I was in HO the Athearn "shake the box" kits were the most widely available. Front Range was on the scene and a few other providers.

I just received this Bowser hopper yesterday. I am blown away at the detail on this car! I have some O scale models that do not have this much detail. I also got a couple of Kadee cars that are impressive too. Now all I have to do is get used to the size of HO again.

Got a NIB PC C636 off ebay this morning for $110. I'll wait until it arrives and get the replacement trucks and fuel tank from Bowser and a Lok sound decoder.

No Nessesarily Ho Scale. But I finally got wireless up and running at our club. Sticking with Easy DCC for now. But I love being un-tethered. The T500E throttle is nice and has loco memory, which is a huge plus.

I totally agree on the quality and level of detail on Bowser cars. (Kadee are not bad either) ;)

Got 4 Frisco box cars. One still needs a little TLC. 2 are balsa wood with spring trucks.

That is a beautiful car. I remember Front Range quite well. I also remember buying one of their freight cars and it was missing a part but, unfortunately for me, Front Range gave up the ghost about then.

Malcolm, you may want to take a look at some of the Exact Rail cars (www.exactrail.com)

There are different detail levels in their products and they do have monthly specials (sign up for their newsletter for a reminder email).

Been in the hobby for about 3 months. I've started buying some locomotives and rolling stock. So far I have these locos: Athearn Genesis GP9 Black Widow (DCC Ready), Walthers Proto 2000 SD9 Black Widow (DCC and Sound), Broadway Paragon SD9 (DCC and Sound), Bowser Executive C630 (DCC Ready).

I have a an Atlas Alco RS32 (DCC Ready) coming and I'd like to get a couple Black Widow EMD F units, oh and the new Bowser U25B that's coming out. LOL

    Hi Steve,

i must say say you have excellent taste in motive power and their makers. Unfortunately however, your color choice is a bit disappointing!!!!!!! LOL! They would all look better in Cascade Green!!!!!!

Seriously, that is an impressive roster. Welcome to the hobby!

Thanks, Dale! Funny, when I was initially thinking about getting into the hobby I was all about the Santa Fe and especially the Super Chief style E and F units. But, when it came time to start buying some hardware I got all nostalgic about the SP since it used to run through my area. Fortunately for you the BN lives on in the merger. I'd like to see UP, BNSF and others paint a lot more of their fleet in "Heritage" colors.

This C-Liner is one of 4 units purchased by the Montana Central in 1968 from the Milwaukee Road as parts donors for its FM fleet, but 6 years later this unit is still being dragged out of the dead line due to continual power shortages,

It certainly has the looks of just being dragged out of storage! Good find :)

Matthew, the C Liner looks great! It's weathered out pretty nicely.

Fordman, that is a good find!
