    Who makes them these days?

I have a little diesel I want to dress up. Bell, horns, etc. My budget is not brass, but rather it's plastic. Ha ha. Looking for cast stuff, not etched brass.

    Brand suggestions?

It's an HOn30 "critter". Center cab. I'll make cab sunshades from styrene, and my own exhaust stacks. But I need the parts previously noted. Am also daydreaming about another version which would require an electric type steam loco headlight. Without Sunrise, so far I don't seem to find anyone who does more than a few parts here and there, in HO. Except such as PSC in brass.

Do the folks of Detail Associates have a web site?

Oops. I goofed. The bell I am thinking about is a steam engine type...

Bowser has picked up the Cal-Scale line of detail parts. If you go to Walther's website you should be able to see almost all of the Details Associates, Details West and Cal Scale details. Actually for a critter, Cal-Scale has a good selection of steamer bells and they also have a fair amount of diesel detail parts too, and a bonus is that they're brass.

Miniatures by Eric has a lot of cast plastic parts, and just earlier today when I was looking at their site I noticed that they added MILW style spark arrestors for switchers and GP9s. Woo-hoo!

You may want to peruse their site, Ken.

I also use a lot of Details Associates and BLMA parts. They are etched brass, but usually one sheet of parts can take care of several locos or freight cars.

EDIT: I realize that because the O.P. was Ken I just assumed this was an N scale post and answered accordingly, but a lot of what I said holds for HO, too, so I'll leave it.

It was already stated, but Walthers has the entire details west and details associates lines.

I was on the Walthers site last night. But couldn't get their search to narrow down those detail parts lists for some reason. I was too tired to slog through it all, so will try again, perhaps tomorrow.

I order almost all my plastic detail parts direct from ATLAS. They have a good selection and resonable shipping. There also is a seller on ebay who sells Atlas parts with low shipping if you only need a few.
For Steam engine parts i use Bachmann. The parts for the Spectrum line are very good and their shipping is only $5.00.

This is a great place to look and shop for details and parts.
    Their combined shipping is great.
