This thread got me thinking about an old Aurora depressed flatcar I once had. Sure enough I was able to locate it in storage.

This is a unique source of material. I cannot recall ever hearing it suggested. Very creative!

IMG_5698.jpg NH7052 WMOFC (Wiener Mobile On Flat Car)

Sure go ahead, run your prototypically correct, scratchbuilt, lasercut, photo-etched, custom weathered, proper ride height, scale couplered, fine scale wheeled
freight cars around the layout and see how many people notice it.
Put one WMOFC in the train and that's all you hear, "Look It's The Wiener Mobile !!"

Looks good Carl. The kits, and other flat and depressed center cars are still available from N Scale Kits!

Thanks for the info about "N scale kits". I will definitely have to get a couple heavy duty flats!

I think that the Beatles are the most over-rated band ever, and I did start singing that song in my head....

Yes, I copied the HO Layout from Bob Smaus and reduced it to N Scale.
The same I did with the HO Layout from the Museum in San Diego.
