Okay, that's pretty fantastic. To see that in N gauge would be just unreal.

These are for HO and larger from what I have read. For N the magnets would be to big or the hose to big to hold a large enough magnet.

I think it's pretty neat. However the same Youtube user has a 15 minute installation video. No thanks. Looks difficult even in HO, forget about N scale.

    But again, it's pretty cool.

This would be incredible! Break hoses are always something we've lacked.

It says "Coming to N scale and all other scales" at the end. I'll be amazed if it actually works that well in N scale (not to mention Z scale!)

Yeah, but if you watch the video, you see it's pretty explanatory and very much a how-to video. Actual installation seems fairly easy, and I think it would be easy to do a lot at the same time.

One thing I am concerned with is the way the air hoses are attached. I would think, that if you took the air line and made a small type of collar or a hook of some type that the air hose might fit better if you could slide it over the end of the air line. Other than that the install seems pretty self explanitory.

I think they're pretty sweet and a neat idea.
On another forum someone posed the question that for N scale, you wonder if it would break the hoses or just drag the N scale car?
Myself, I wonder what effect under track magnets would have on them, providing you used under track magnets?

I do! If the mfg is willing to provide me a couple cars with these installed or supply me with a set to retro-fit some of my cars, I would be more than willing to test their effects with under track magnets.

I might believe this is where a car must be properly weighted, and have a reasonable rolling resistance. I would not be surprised if some unweighted cars could be pulled along.

There are some questions on their YT page after this video. One person asked about uncoupling magnets and they stated there was not a problem. I could believe the hoses would be attracted, but it shouldn't derail or otherwise be effected.

Shoveling snow again? Or did this last storm miss you?

Well we were slated for 10-12" last Thursday, but only got about 4-6". Out west of us got 6-10" and K.C. got hammered, 12-14" on top of Ice.
As the storm crossed NE/KS border is split just below us and dissipated a bit, thank you very much! They said the storm wasn't able to draw enough moisture from that atmosphere. What a shame.
We were suppose to get more last night but it blew SE of us, might get a dusting. Let me tell ya how hurt I am! But I feel sorry for KS.

If those magnets would work, they would be a neat addition, but not sure if I would go through the hassle or expense of adding them?
Cause you know, it would like weathering, when you do one, you know the others would have to have them....

Yes, very cool. The only problem I see in N Scale is the distance between some cars and the hose not being long enough...a problem on real ones too. Or it being stretched so its not 'hanging' but alot tighter then seen in the video. I guess we'll have to wait and see. :)

Gee - if they don't come to N, I guess I'm moving to HO! That is just too cool!

I'll wait till they get to N scale and let others be the guinea pigs.

    ;)

After the reviews then we'll see...LOL.

    BUT...its a neat concept anyways ^5
