This layout has code 55 for the main line and code80 for the loggging road. the main is thru pass and frt where as the logging hauls to mill. The challenge is turning the main line trains for the return trip and acces to town on the right hand side and a depot . from the 3 foot mark to the 4 foot 6 inch mark is walk thru access . This layout is DC for the logging road and future DCC for the main as I have one DCC E6 . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0TkTOuKMXw short video i got while checking shorts and grades..
large circle on the right represents a 40 mile long lake Pend Oreille with inflow river to the top and out flow river at the bottom of the circle.. and town area " south " of the lake ( towards the bottom ) . The rest of the trackage is for the logging road and various future logging sites ... Thanks for taking a look !

Why code 80 (heavier rail) for the logging road? Wouldn't it be lighter rail in the real world? Also, I think one of us is misreading your drawing. To me, it looks like your "access" is only 15" rather than the 18" you mention. Either way, that's going to be VERY tight getting in and out.

also the long reach to back tracks if it is up against a wall...30" maximum is rule of thumb, no?

I also see some ~5" radius curves. And the layout seems to be made of several sections that don't connect.

I suspect that the "several sections that don't connect" are due to the draftsman being new at his CAD package. Those astonishingly tight curves are a concern, as are the tracks that pass a fraction of an inch from the inner corners of the access aisle (the roadbed will be hanging over the edge on the purple one). And I see no connection at all between the logging road and the mainline, not even a common industry. Where do the loads of logs go?

That entire right-hand shelf is used for one track and some scenery; could you fit some mainline staging under that scenery, to vary the mainline operation a bit?

Finally, on the bottom of the left-hand shelf, the mainline has two curves with a tangent between them. You have enough room to make it one continuous curve of a larger radius, which would look much better.
