Here we have my recent spare time projects. BNSF6720 and BNSF9370, both are detailed and lightly weathered. My next locos to be done are UP1989 and BNSF722, they should be done here in the next couple of days. Enjoy!

Really nice work. I like the extra details. I did #6709, but other than the patch and weathering, the rest is all stock. I may have to explore adding some details to the next one after seeing your results. I added conspicuity stripes, which are very subtle on a yellow walkway, but added a nice touch of detail.

this is before number boards, but nearly complete:

Your loco looks great! Love the stripes and weathering. You should paint the steps and hand rails white it really makes a difference. Your 6709 and my 6720 would look great together. Nice job!

    customNscaler,

how do you store your locos after adding sunshades? Not being able to rest them back into the original boxes is really about the only reason I haven't added this important detail. They are one of those obvious upgrades that is small yet very effective in enhancing the model.

Nice work on the grab irons. I don't know if I would have the patience or steadiness to make them look that good. But when done well, they look really nice.

Do you have a photo album or website online of your work? I would like to see more of your fleet.

    thanks,

    HuskerN

Here is how I store my detailed locos. They are nice and SAFE in this box. I would love to have a web site or photo album on line. Just dont know where to get started at.
